Sequence - Christian Movie/film

Unblinded Media announced Thursday that it had begun preproduction on its long awaited, Christian action thriller movie, 'Sequence.' The company begins filming in summer 2010. If heart, soul, and inspiration of the cast and crew are predictors of a the makings of great movie, then 'Sequence' promises to be something extraordinary.

"We have a message we want to share without the world," says Randy Hulshizer, MS, MA, Unblinded Media owner, producer, and writer. "Every cast and crew member of 'Sequence' is dedicated to sharing that message. So much so that they are working at their own expense--donating their time and energy to ensure that the message goes out. It's not about fame and glory for these guys and gals. It's about so much more than that!"

One only needs to take a look at the 'Sequence' website to see how dedicated the cast and crew are. Neither Unblinded Media nor any of the cast or crew plans to earn a dime from this movie. In fact, they are willing to put themselves out so they can get their message out for free. But, according to Hulshizer, it's not really 'their' message.

“We want SEQUENCE to be more than just a movie,” says Unblinded Media's owner and creator of the SEQUENCE ARG, Randy Hulshizer. “We want it to be a life experience. The ARG can help make that happen by getting fans 'into' the story before they even see the movie. We really want fans to be fully immersed in the experience to point at which they feel like they are part of it."

While the genre is still evolving, ARGs (i.e., alternate reality games) have been around in their modern form for about 10 years. Most ARGs employ an interactive story that's woven into a real world platform and can reference real world places and people. The games often utilize various media elements (i.e., internet, movies, blogs, social networks) to unfold the story in real time. Players can enter the ARG world through various points, appropriately termed 'rabbit holes,' and the actions of players can directly influence the outcome of the game. Although players understand that they are they are playing a game, a common characteristic of ARGs is the concept of TINAG (this is not a game), which gives the game its realistic feel.
